About Rebike Mobility GmbH
Rebike Mobility is Germany's largest recommerce company for e-bikes and operates Europe's largest and most modern e-bike refurbishment center. The Munich-based company sells refurbished e-bikes from well-known brand manufacturers via the online platform rebike.com, via second-use marketplaces of partners such as Decathlon and eBay as well as via the BusinessBike service leasing program and in its own flagship stores in Munich, Frankfurt am Main - and from March 2025 in Weiterstadt and Cologne-Marsdorf.
Rebike takes on large quantities of used e-bikes from well-known lessors and dealers and extends their service life through professional refurbishment. Every year, over 20,000 e-bikes are refurbished using a refurbishment process developed in-house and certified by TÜV Rheinland. Customers benefit from a wide range of models, affordable prices and professional customer service. Rebike thus offers an attractive alternative to buying new bikes and contributes to the mobility transition, climate protection and the conservation of limited resources with its circular business model. The company was founded in 2018 by managing directors Thomas Bernik and Sven Erger and employs around 140 people at all locations.
Behind the scenes
Our Customer Care staff are on hand to provide our customers with help and advice both before and after their purchase.
Our e-bikes are carefully packaged so that the feelings of happiness are not dampened when unpacking.
Our e-bike wash system has a closed water circuit so that no resources are wasted here either.
Discarded tires and inner tubes are sent to Schwalbe tire recycling and are thus also given a second life.
In our state-of-the-art photo studio, 360-degree photos are taken of all e-bikes so that our customers can get an accurate picture of the visual condition of the e-bike.
Quality assurance is highly automated and standardized.
Our 3,500 sqm refurbishment center in Kempten, at the foot of the Allgäu Alps.
At our factory sales in Kempten, e-bike bargains can be made on the spot.
In our stores in Frankfurt and Munich, we not only offer comprehensive advice, but also test drives.
Our managing directors and founders also regularly visit the workshop and enjoy learning.

Thomas Bernik
Thomas Bernik is an experienced and successful serial entrepreneur. In addition, he is an investor in various media, retail and internet companies. He studied economics in Konstanz and in the USA and founded his first company while still at school. Thomas is responsible for HR, Finance, IT, Business Development and Marketing.
Sven Erger
Sven Erger is an ambitious mountain biker and hobby cyclist. After completing his mechanical engineering and subsequent studies in industrial engineering, he started a successful career with positions at large corporations such as Sony, Nokia and Microsoft. Sven is responsible for operations, purchasing, customer operations and BI.
